About FirstBank

Diversity Image

We here at FirstBank are fortunate to have financial stability, outstanding employees, and the greatest customers we could ask for. We owe our success to the core values we’ve held since we were founded in 1963. Ever since, we’ve maintained a strong commitment to convenience, friendly and intelligent customer service, and loyalty to our employees. FirstBank has grown through consumer and commercial lending, innovative banking products and services and a high regard for community investment. FirstBank now has over $14 billion in assets and over 115 locations in Colorado, Arizona, and California. We’re still a growing company, but after 50 years, our commitment to our customers and to our communities has not changed.

Community Investment

"FirstBank invests heavily at the local level because we recognize that nonprofit organizations are integral to the social fabric of Colorado. When you consider the dynamics, investing in the community is not only the right thing to do, it's also good business."
–  John Ikard, CEO

Company History

In honor of our 50th anniversary in February 2013, we created this video to illustrate our growth and our ongoing involvement in the communities we serve. Watch interviews of customers, employees and retirees talk about their time and experiences with FirstBank. We hope you enjoy the video as much as we've enjoyed being your local bank for 50 years.

Environmental Stability

Green hands tree

According to payitgreen.org, if just 20% of American households switched from paper to electronic bills, statements and payments each year, the collective impact would save 146,930,912 pounds of paper, 542,669,898 pounds of wood and prevent the production of 689,437,189 pounds of greenhouse gases.

FirstBank offers eStatements, eBills, Bill Pay and Online Banking to all our customers enabling you to do your part in helping the environment. FirstBank also constructs its buildings to maximize energy efficiency and minimize water consumption. We encourage you to visit one of our new branches and see the changes being made.
